Here is my dyno sheet. I used Revolution Performance 4.125 cylinders, 4 3/8 HD stroker crank trued, welded and Timken upgrade, T-Man 625 gear drive cams, Feuling cam plate, oil pump and lifters, SE roller rockers with SE forged rocker support plates, SE tapered adjustable pushrods, HPI 58mm TB and red band injectors, Thundermax Auto Tune, V&H Pro Pipe Chrome modified. I had Dan Vance Racing re-work a set of SE110 heads especialy for this build. Dan used the HPI TB and flowed the heads superbly. IMHO Dan is one of the best head porters in the business today. He will answer all your questions and custom tailor your heads to your build! This is the second set of heads Dan has dome for me and when it came time to do this build there was no question in my mind that Dan would do the job. Assembly was by Barry Hamilton at Kiwi Pro Cycle and he also did the tune and dyno work. After 800 more miles it will go back for final tuning and I will post the sheet. Barry thinks we will gain some numbers when all is said and done. I am super happy!!

Check Out Rocky's Dyno Run !!

My tuner really like what you did to the  throttle body. We gained 9 hp and 14 ft lbs of torque. The torque curve was  smooth he really liked what he saw. keep up the good work and  thanks............... Dan

I took the bike to TNT Dyno and we mapped the PC3 to the new stuff on the engine. After we were done it made 117HP and 111TQ... !! It is very impressive...  ....The heads flow very gooood......Thanks, John Hendrix

I had a race with two stroker 103s and my brothers softail with Baisley Heads and S&S 570s. The 103s had all Screamin Eagle parts, heads cams etc. Four bikes came up the entrance ramp onto the highway side by side with one car in front of us. One of the 103s decided to make a break for it early and went on the inside of the car just at the top of the ramp . The rest of us took off as soon as we hit the highway. I left one stroker and my brother in the dust and caught the guy who took off early and passed him. I looked at my clock while passing him (digital clock) and it read 133 mph and bike was still pulling strong .The guys on the two 2010 103s were pissed. The bike really pulls well.........Dave Hogan

All I know is when you said have fun. I didn't think it would be this much fun. The bike is a monster, the more throttle you give it the more it grows. I got to find some respect for it. It will be a little while before  I get it to the Dyno. Its still cool here and I've got 4  hours to get there. .....

Thanks a million for the machine work and parts. My Roadglide run's great !! I can do 1st & 2nd gear wheelies..... Woody

Just a note to say thanks for all the work you put into my bike. It has more power that I could have ever imagined. Nice smooth aggressive power and it's all right there in the throttle. very cool !!!!!  Here is a list of the componets you used:  DVR raised port head, 98" piston kit, Woods # 8 cams, your reworked 46mm throttle body and a Vance and hines 2 into 1 exhaust.  Not only does it run good but i got over 190 miles out of the first tank full of fuel, and part of that was used on the dyno tune.  I am very happy with the 113 torque and 115.8 HP....... Thanks Kip Miller ,Connecticut,USA

Hi Dan just wanted to get back to & tell you about how pleased I am with your work. When we got the engines back in the middle of May. It was balls to the walls to get them installed before vacation but we did it. The bikes now have well over 2500 miles on them & they run great. Very smooth power all the way through the RPM range. Kinda like a high end Mercedes. You sure as hell accelerate quickly & smoothly. & the compression releases. That's the only way to go. Well worth the money......Dave Johnson, West Harrison, IN

Dan,
I had the bike out for a 20 mile run, changed the oil. This was at 10:30 am never got back off the bike till 6:15 pm.
The motor is awsome, it is quiet, has lots of power & less vibration than before. All I know is when you said have fun. I didn't think it would be this much fun. The bike is a monster, the more throttle you give it the more it grows. I got to find some respect for it. ......Wade Moore, Prince Edward Island

I purchased a set of ported heads from you several months ago, which you sent to Australia, We installed the heads and had to run the bike for a bit, it went well !!! Been very busy so don't get to ride it as much as I would like, There is only a small problem, the bike is so fast now I don't ride it a lot as I need my licence. The motor performs very well ! 107,Andrews 54 cams, Dan Vance heads,HPI throttle body, Biggest K&N air filter, Supertrapp 2:1 (20 discs), Thundermax ECU in 2008 Softail. Pulls right through the rev range, good from idle on up, just like I asked for. Thank you for all your help and advice.     Mark Williams,Perth, Western Australia

....I threw on my full face helmet and went for a 65 mile ride and got on it big time once it got really hot then I cruised around 70-80 for 25 miles. I noticed it was running smoother around 80 than before, so now I'm grinning....

The power of that bike still blows me away and is so much fun to open that throttle up....you definitely have a good combination. I thought you would be glad to hear this news,Dan and again thanks for all your help.....Steve Pitt,Rio Rancho,NM

"Thank you the bike runs great it is almost scary the increase in power. love it....
....again thanks for the great job"........Steven Boyd, Elmherst,IL

I am very pleased with my bike.  It has never run so well.  Thank you for your advice and excellent work. You will certainly be highly recommended  by me......................   Robert Waymire, Chipley, FL

Here's an update from Robert Waymire.....

I have  got about 1000 miles on the bike so far and it runs
better everytime i get on it.The difference is wonderful, its a blast to ride and
i have fallen in love with it again after 100000 miles.
Thanks for your great workmanship and kind attitude!

"Yes finally .................. it is runnin' like a MONSTER !!!
Thank You So Much For Everything .  I just turned 3000 miles on it , had
it dynoed ,  129 Horsepower to the rear wheel !!!!!  AWESUM The patr's and Headwork you
performed was Absolutely Perfect .  Thank's Again For Everything"....... Kevin Carpenter, Lima. NY

"...my bike now dynos at 94 H.P. and 110 F.P.T.... I started at 70 H.p.!That's a great

The power is in the R.P.M. range that is usable rather than up high.

The builder said that with the quality and degree of headwork you had performed,

a more aggressive cam would have put me well over 100 H.P.

I would recommend your service highly to anyone and have done so here, locally.

The builder who did the engine work was also impressed.

If you care to use this as a testimonial feel free. I am VERY SATISFIED.  Regards and THANKS!!!"......Glen Joyce, Alturas,CA

"the moter is great ...... And its been on the dino......... last pull was 108Hp and 111 tq"... David Hambrick  Dallas,NC

"I am really excited about the way my bike performs now and wouldn't change a thing.
Thanks again for all your suggestions and your fine workmanship......The first time I got
on it hard it lifted the front wheel when I shifted into 2nd gear. Now that's torque.....Thanks again."  Tim Leith,Tulalip,WA

.... "Not only is the bike running super, super good. But we are without any issues .....

For that I owe you another Thanks"    Michael Wallace,Madison,OH

"It's been a long time and I wanted to report some more results......
Below are some comparisons between what I had
and what I have now".........

FYI: ultra classic, 2004, delfi ECM.

Before: 95" motor, stock heads, se203 cams:

1) 30-38 miles per gallon on 92 octane fuel.
2) 5th gear, no need to downshift in order to pass on interstate.
3) 6th gear overdrive, have to downshift in order to pass interstate.

After: 95" motor, Dan Vance heads, , Andrews gear drive, Head Quarters
HQ-0039G cams .58 intake / .53 exhaust

1) 41-46 miles per gallon on 92 octane fuel.
2) No need to downshift in any gear, including overdrive (6th gear), in order
to pass someone on the interstate.
3) This motor has tons more highway horsepower and torque than I will ever
need. I would be in jail if were 20 years younger than I am.
4) This heavy bike is so fun to ride now. It's like riding a lighter bike.

"Dan, I want to thank you again for all the help that you've given me"....Eric Nelson

"There's a guy down here thats interested in a big bore kit. Oh by the way Im getting about
46-47 mpg, thats about 6-7 more mpg I never would have thought.  Thanks ".......
Rod Kenny, Cocoa,Fl.

"I've been reading your articles this morning and it really sounds like you've done your homework over the years. I've been riding Harleys since 1969 (my first Panhead) but have never read a more enlightening description of what needs to be done to an
engine to attain certain results.

We will be doing business when I'm ready to change one of my bikes...."   David Love
