Here is a proven power performance kit ! Basic Kits You send me your parts & I will port the heads & bore the cylinders & ship them back to you with a new set of pistons. 88" to 95" $1195.00 96" to 103" $1195.00 88" to 98" $1350.00 96" to 107" $1350.00 You can also purchase these kits as an exchange. For an additional $450.00, (350.00 heads, 100.00 cyls) I will send you a kit with all components all ready to install including a set of my heads and cylinders. After you have installed them, you send me your take-off heads & cylinders & I will refund $400.00 of that charge. For this option, the parts you return to me must be in the same color and condition that I have provided to you. The 88-95 kits come with KB pistons. Other pistons can be used if you have a different preference. The 96 to 103 kits come with Screaming Eagle pistons. The 88-98 & 96-107 kits come with CP piston kits. The cylinders are bored and honed, using torque plates, from 88ci to 95ci. The Keith Black piston kits are some of the best pistons available in todays market. They come in 9.3 or 10.25 compression ratio. The cylinders are bored to .007" undersized, then honed with an 80 grit stones to within .003". Then they are honed to size using a 280 grit stone set and they are finished off with a ball hone for maximum oil retention and break in. I can use other piston kits by request. Prices may vary. Also included in this kit is my Twin Cam "Raised Port Cylinder Head" technology process. I start off by cleaning the intake and exhaust ports as well as the combustion chamber in order to see what i am working with. The next step is the porting booth where I will blend and shape the port to flow the amount of air we are looking for and in the rpm range that the cams will be working. When the porting is done I move to the welding booth where I use great precision to weld the floor of the port to increase the velocity of the incoming air charge. Now that the welding and porting are satisfactory I will use my state of the art CNC machine to do a 7 angle valve job, (5 on the seat and 2 on the valve) and mill off .005" of the head gasket surface to insure a perfect sealing surface for the head gasket. Now it's off to the cleaning tank to scrub off the heads and prepared for assembly. Assemble consist of another thorough inspection of the work that was performed, then new 1.900 intake valves, exhaust are checked, new seals and spring pressure is adjusted to the cam specs. This kit has proven to be very compatible with many cam combinations, providing instant throttle response and incredible pulling power. Whether you are on a Full Dresser or on a Dyna the power is right there in the throttle. I have also had plenty of customers tell me their gas mileage increased by 4-8 mpg. There is so much power in the low rpms that you will not need to rev the motor as high to make as much power. On average the heads will flow: Intake Valve : 100 lift 36cfm Exhaust Valve: 100 lift 30cfm 200 lift 74cfm 200 lift 60cfm 300 lift 114cfm 300 lift 91cfm 400 lift 137 cfm 400 lift 110cfm 500 lift 145cfm 500 lift 116cfm 550
lift 148cfm
550 lift 118cfm
Street Porting
Work
This is for work on the your heads only As I am doing these jobs I gently radius certain areas that are hindering the flow and blend the seat into the port. A lot of people are under the impression that porting is just removing a lot of material and the port will flow more air. This is true to some degree but there are limits to how big is big enough and how big is too much. Granted there is air to be had by making things bigger but there is also more air to be had in the valve used and the attention to detail in the valve job and valve seat. This set of heads will do just that, more air that is moving faster and filling those cylinders. In this procedure I do no welding in the ports, just porting. As with most kits, there are different levels. If your bike has over 25,000 miles the
exhaust valves and guides should be replaced, add 100.00 for 2 new exhaust valves
and new guides installed. Here are just a
few: Your heads with the stock valves and stock springs, ported, 3 angle valve job.
$399.99 Your heads w/1.900 intake valve, new Int.v/guides 7 angle valve work
(5 on seat, 2 on valve ). $499.99 This is a typical "Street Port" dyno sheet.
This bike has a Woods #6 cam shaft, 10.25 compression, with a Thunder header exhaust. It was
tuned using a power commander. ![]() |
