The motor will receive a one year
warranty on all parts and labor..
I can completely rebuild your Shovelhead, EVO or Twin Cam motor from top to bottom.
When your motor arrives, I will disassemble and clean
the entire motor. In the process I will take notes of anything I see that raises questions. When I am done, I will call
or e-mail you with my findings if I see anything odd or unusual.
I install all 4 new valve guides, 4 new valves, 3 angle valve work and new valve springs.

I will bore and hone out the cylinders to the next size and fit the pistons.
I will rebuild the rods with new bearings and wrist pin bushings.
The lower end will also get new Timken bearings and pinion bearings.
The
cases will be line-lapped and fit for the new bearings.
The
motor will be assembled with the ignition timed and ready to go.
(if the ignition is provided).
Now, for getting the motor here. There are a couple of ways to do this. You can drop off the motor and pick it up at my shop, OR you can send it by truck. Trucking can be expensive but I have found that, if you deliver and pick up the motor at their terminal, it will be less expensive.
The best way is: you take the top end of the motor off (heads & cylinders) and pack it & the lower end in separate boxes and ship it by UPS or USPS. The heads and cylinders usually cost $50-70, the lower end will cost $50-75 as well. I will do the work you request and send it back the same way. Everything will be done so all you have to do is install it in the frame and reassemble the top end.
I have had some customers ask why is the rebuild so inexpensive ?? I have been working full time on Harley's since 1980 and have had a full time business repairing HD's since 1980. I have done so many motor jobs that I have lost count. If you are the type of person who feels that if he pays more he will get more then I am willing to raise the price until you are happy. (Just kidding!) But I do want to make you happy !
Most motors take 3-4 weeks to complete, some less time, some more. It all depends on the month you send it.
